About Artist
SOLAR GEAR THEORY is a group of three guys from Decatur and Swansea, Illinois. Originally formed in the early 1970's under the name FATHOM. The band split up in the late 1970's and members went thier seperate ways playing in different bands over the years. In the fall of 2008 the members began to talk about reuniting and in early 2009 did just that adopting the new name of SOLAR GEAR THEORY. We are currently not playing any live shows, but that could change as things progress. For now we are happy to share our creative thoughts in music with you the public. We hope that you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy writting and recording. Thanks for taking the time to check us out and check back often as we will be adding new material. ROCK ON!!
