The musical artist Try-Be (Brandon B. Beachum) started out his musical career in the So Cal based hip-hop/rock band, Kundalini. During Kundalini’s 8 year career, they shared the bill with many successful bands such as: Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Hoobastank and Alien Ant Farm. After Kundalini eventually disbanded, Try-Be slowly started to formulate a plan to launch a successful solo career. He knew that he not only had to create a fresh new sound unlike anything heard before, but that he also needed to come up with a unique plan that would ensure his music, and its "conscious" message, would reach the masses. His disillusionment with the methods employed by the “traditional” music industry, combined with its steadily declining state, proved to be fertile ground for a more evolved business model and plan to start taking shape in his mind. With the deep seated belief that, “All Is One” as his guiding principle, he set out to build his ambitious record label concept upon the foundation of this universal truth. As a result, the fundamental ideals of, “getting what you give” and “sharing the wealth” naturally arose as mantras for the model that would ultimately evolve into Industree Music Network as it is known today.
With the release of Try-Be’s debut album, “Love Transmissions,” he is setting out to breathe a much needed breath of fresh air into the world of hip-hop. His soulful, thought provoking word play, blended with the ethereal vibes and stellar trip-hop beats provided by phenom producer Danny V., has birthed an unprecedented sound that they coined, “Retro-Futuristic” hip-hop. So sit back, open your mind and enjoy the paradoxical new style that seamlessly melds both timeless and modern sounds, with ancient yet futuristic wisdom.
