Hipost is not your typical emcee. His name was given to him back in high school by classmates, because in addition to his superior mic skills, he is also a classically trained cellist with a penchant for the finer things in life. After his former group, PI-DA-DE’s, deal with recording giant EMI went sour, Hipost decided it was time to go solo. He later signed with the renowned hip-hop label, Ruff Ryders, only for that deal to also fall apart due to internal issues.
